Event Information and Registration

Bike Reg is the premier site for road, mountain, and cyclocross race listings in the eastern US.  This site is a great place to find out about the racing scene. 

BMX NJ is the hub for the BMX racing scene.

Metro Race Forum is a detailed link to the NJ Triathlon and Multi-sport scene.  This is the best place to find the perfect race for any riding ability.

Places to Ride and Riding Resources

Bike Journal is a great website that lets you track your mileage in an online training log.  Sign up and join the Jay’s Cycle Club!

The Central Jersey Bicycle Club is an active cycling club that organizes numerous events and hundreds of group rides throughout the year.

The D and D Canal – The Delaware and Raritan Canal Towpath is a popular and easy trail system for bicycling in NJ is It wanders through some of the most scenic areas of our state.  

Google’s G-Map Pedometer is another versatile mapping tool that works well for outdoor athletes.

JORBA (Jersey Off-Road Bicycling Association) is the most active mountain biking advocacy group in the state.  Visit this site for updates on trail conditions, the latest mountain bike news, and additional info on how you can help out with trail maintenance.

Map My Ride is a cycling-specific mapping tool that lets you connect the dots along your favorite rides and calculate distance, elevation gain, and other important data.  You can also save your favorite rides for others to see, and you can do a zip code search to find routes that other cyclists have posted.

MTB New Jersey is a great website offering tons of information for mountain bikers.  Great trail maps and a wide array of discussion forums. 

New Jersey Bike Map is a detailed map of cycling routes throughout the state.  Good cycling roads are highlighted with important features, all in an easily printable format.  This is our favorite tool for planning new road rides.

Pedals For Progress is an organization that collects used and unwanted/unclaimed bikes, and distributes them to bike shops in developing countries, providing wonderful opportunities and economic support for people who lack basic transportation.

The Rails to Trails Conservancy has a complete listing of trails all across the US. They’re a terrific organization that constructs multi-use trails from old railroad beds.

Team in Training is an exciting program that raises funds annually for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.  In exchange for fundraising, they will provide you with coaching to ride a century, run a marathon, or do a triathlon. Contact them to find out how you can have your trip to the event organized and paid for by the team.
